Single-pole electromagnetic DC contactors KP-207, KP-7, KP207, KP7 are designed for switching the power electric circuits of generators and direct-current motors at a voltage of 600V. The contactors allow operation in the power circuits of electric drives with a voltage of up to 1000 V DC as dynamic braking contactors in GD systems and other modes, and can also be used in circuits with a potential of 1200 V without switching current. Contactors are manufactured for operation in conditions of moderate (U), tropical (T) and cold (CL) climate of location category 3 according to GOST 15150.
Name Rated current, A Tension, In Weight, kg
KP-207 2500/2000 600/440 up to 80
KP-7 2500/2000 600/440 up to 80
Rated current of contactors performed by (U) and (CL) at a voltage of 600 V -2500 A; version (T) at a voltage of 440 V - 2000 A. The degree of protection of IPPO contactors according to GOST 14255. KP207 contactors differ from the corresponding KP7 contactors by the presence of tripping springs. The contactors are made: a) with enclosing coils of direct current, requiring force when turned on (with economic resistance) to the nominal voltage of 110 and 220 V; b) with auxiliary contacts in combination “three closing (3) and three breaking (P) contacts”; c) on the rated voltage of the auxiliary contacts from 110 to 380 V; d) on insulating plates with rear connection of conductors of the main and auxiliary circuits; e) with or without maximum relay. Installation of the built-in coin relay to be calibrated to one of the following currents: - 1250, 1600, 2500, 3750, 5000 A in the normal version; - 1250, 1600, 2000, 3000, 4000 A in tropical design. The minimum operating mode of the contactors is intermittent - long. Contactors can be used in long and repeated short-time modes in accordance with GOST 18311-80. The permissible frequency of inclusions is 30 cycles per hour at a PV of 60%. Mechanical wear resistance of contactors - the number of on and off (cycles) withoutка в главной цепи - 0,25 млн.
